
Our Story
In 1825, King Victor Emmanuel II of Italy requested his pastry chefs to create a
unique dessert to impress an elegant woman. Using traditional Piedmont’s
ingredients, they created a delicate hazelnut cookie resembling a kiss. The two
biscuit halves, held together by a layer of chocolate, were called Baci di Dama
Lady’s Kisses and quickly became a royal favorite, celebrated across Italy and
Europe for their elegance and craftsmanship.
